An 80 mm front suspension fork and rear shock absorber work with CST 20 x 4.0-inch puncture-resistant fat tyres to smooth out rough ground.

Shimano 7-Speed and Hydraulic Brakes:
Shimano 7-speed gearing handles hills and flats, and front and rear hydraulic disc brakes give reliable stopping in all conditions.

WARRANTY

LIMITED PRODUCT WARRANTY

LOCO Scooters warrants the original purchaser that your Electric Scooter or e-bike shall be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use during the warranty period. Except otherwise provided by applicable law, the warranty lasts for the period of time specified on the product specification table. Notwithstanding the foregoing clause, LOCO Scooters does not exclude, limit or suspend the minimum legal warranty period imposed by applicable law. LOCO Scooters does not warrant the operation of the Product will be uninterrupted or error-free.

REMEDIES

If an original manufacturing defect is found and a valid claim is received by LOCO Scooters within the Warranty Period, we will either (1) repair the Product at no charge, using new or refurbished replacement parts, (2) replace the Product with a new or refurbished product, or (3) refund the Product, excluding potential shipping costs. It will be at our sole discretion which remedy we pursue and we will always repair the Product where it is possible for us to do so. In the event of a defect, to the fullest extent permitted by law, these are your sole and exclusive remedies. LOCO Scooters reserves the right to use original or non-original parts for repairs undertaken. Non-original parts used will always be to the same specification as original parts. Shipping and handling charges may apply except where prohibited by applicable law. Any replacement hardware product will be warranted for the remainder of the original warranty period or thirty (30) days, whichever is longer, or for any additional period of time that may be applicable in your jurisdiction.

HOW TO OBTAIN WARRANTY SERVICE

In accordance with applicable law, we may require the customer to furnish proof of purchase details and warranty card with identifying serial number of the Product.

For customers in the UK, the warranty is a parts-only warranty. This means that you will be required to demonstrate what component is faulty and we will ship you that part. You can repair it yourself or bring it to a repair centre local to you. We do not cover any charges applied by such repair centres. Brexit has made it impossible to accept an item for repair, from the UK to Ireland, without having to pay customs charges each way, amounting to approximately 56% of the original value of the item. You should ensure that you have the capability to carry out any repairs yourself, or identify a suitable repair centre near you, before you purchase any electric scooter or e-bike from the UK.

RETURN GUIDELINES

Overall Return Guidelines are applicable only to products purchased by you directly from LOCO Scooters. All returns must meet the overall guidelines in order for the individual return policy to apply. All product returns require a return order number. You may obtain a return order number by contacting LOCO Scooters warranty support service through email to repairs@locoscooters.ie. Return shipping costs may be deducted from your refund depending on the reason for return (eg. if a return was initiated for a defective product that powers on and works properly upon inspection). Products that are received by LOCO Scooters in any of the following conditions are not eligible for return and will be rejected; Any product not purchased from LOCO Scooters, any product with missing, damaged, altered, or otherwise unreadable serial number label, any product that exhibits physical damage, any product which appears tampered with, customised, or altered in any way by the user or a party connected with, or under the instruction of the user.

FREE COLLECT & RETURN PERIOD

For the period of 14 days from the date on which your new product was delivered, we offer free collection and return of the item in the event that it requires a repair*. This is a goodwill offer and not one that forms part of any warranty entitlement. This is valid for both warranty and non-warranty issues, we understand that it will be disappointing to need a repair so soon after purchasing an item, and for that reason we are offering this free collection and return. Once this 14 day period has expired, you are welcome to use our nationwide collection and return repair service, at a cost to you of €30. Outside of the Dublin area, it is your responsibility to retain the original packaging, and you will need to repackage the item should you wish to send it to us for service.

*This free collect and return offering does not apply in the UK due to the difficulties in accepting items cross-border post-Brexit. Any item shipped to us from the UK has 29% of duties payable to The Revenue Commissioners on arrival, and 26% on return to the UK, payable to HMRC.

SPURIOUS WARRANTY CLAIMS

LOCO Scooters defines a spurious warranty claim as one where no issue exists or where the issue was found to have been caused by the customer through the incorrect assembly or usage of the item. In such instances, any costs incurred will be borne by the customer in exclusivity. This includes, but is not limited to, collection and delivery/return costs including fuel, tolls or payments to third parties, as well as our standard rates for collection and delivery/return and any time spent by a representative of LOCO (typically a mechanic) working on or inspecting the item.

LIMITATIONS AND EXCLUSIONS

Batteries are covered by the warranty for the first year or the first 10,000 km travelled, whichever comes first. Consumable items and items subject to wear and tear are not covered by warranty. These items require service and replacement at intervals and they are outlined below for clarity;

  • Tyres
  • Inner tubes
  • Rubber foot pads
  • Handlebar grips
  • Brake cables
  • Brake pads
  • Brake discs
  • Brake handles
  • Paint
  • Rubber bungs
  • Wheel bearings
  • Missing parts
  • Mudguards
  • Mechanical damage such as snapped or damaged bolts or other parts
  • Any accidental damage or damage caused intentionally / recklessly

The warranty covers original manufacturer defects. The warranty will be void if the part which is submitted for repair or maintenance demonstrates signs of misuse or handling that is contrary to the instructions set out in the user manual including but not limited to inappropriate use or incorrect maintenance and storage or signs of crash damage. Crash damage voids the product warranty entirely.

The warranty will be void if the part which is submitted for repair or maintenance demonstrates signs of alteration or customisation by the user or any party connected to, or instructed by the user.

SPARE PARTS

No warranty is provided for spare parts supplied by LOCO and installed either by the customer or a connected party other than LOCO Scooters Ltd.

LOCO CARE PACKAGES

LOCO Care is an optional eScooter protection plan available at the point of purchase for selected products. LOCO Care is separate from, and does not replace, the Limited Product Warranty outlined above.

The Limited Product Warranty covers manufacturing defects only. LOCO Care provides additional servicing and repair support designed to help maintain the performance and usability of your scooter during normal ownership.

Depending on the level selected, LOCO Care plans include benefits such as:

  • Scheduled servicing and safety inspections

  • Brake adjustments and maintenance support

  • Puncture repair cover

  • Priority repair turnaround

  • 50% off rental scooters during repairs

  • Parts and labour cover for eligible repairs

  • Water damage protection

LOCO Care coverage applies only for the duration of the selected plan and only where the scooter has been used in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and normal operating conditions.

All servicing and repairs under LOCO Care must be carried out by LOCO Scooters. Work undertaken by unauthorised third parties will invalidate LOCO Care coverage.

Full details of each LOCO Care level — Essential, Peace of Mind, and All-In — are provided at the point of sale and on individual product pages.

WATER INGRESS

Damage caused to the product by the ingress of water is not covered by the limited warranty. It is your responsibility to familiarise yourself with the ingress protection (IP) rating of your product, as stipulated by the manufacturer, and only use the product in line with this IP rating. Most electric scooters and bikes are not waterproof and should not be used in wet conditions, when it is raining or when the ground is wet - as to do so puts the product at risk of electronic failure or circuit damage due to the ingress of water. We understand that this is not ideal, given that customers may wish to, or need to use their scooters in wet conditions and for this reason we offer an additional protection against electronic water damage through our LOCO Care protection plans, starting from €99 per year. These care packages are offered to the customer both in store and online, and if you decline to purchase this cover, your product warranty will be voided by any water ingress or damage associated with water ingress. If you have purchased the care package alongside your product, then your product is covered for water damage for 12 months. Water damage to an electric scooter or bike renders the entire limited product warranty void. Our optional care packages can only be purchased alongside the product at the point of sale and cannot be added at a later date. Our care packages cover repairs only, so in the event that your scooter is water damaged, we will repair, rather than replace it. We cannot guarantee that your scooter will not become water damaged, but we can guarantee that if it becomes water damaged, and you have purchased a care package, your repair will be free for any water damaged items.

FIRMWARE ALTERATIONS

Any non-stock firmware alterations made by the user will render this limited warranty void. Non-stock firmware may also create a fire hazard due to the risk of melted cabling internally.

ROUTINE MAINTENANCE

Items such as brakes, folding mechanisms and other adjustable parts require periodic servicing and adjustment to ensure safety and optimum performance. It is the responsibility of the owner to ensure that all adjustable parts are secure and safe for use – if any doubt arises please contact LOCO Scooters on 01 5242062. Care should be taken to routinely ensure that all nuts and bolts are securely tightened and not loose or missing. Tyres should be correctly inflated to the specification as advertised on the side wall of the tyre.

REPAIRS AND SERVICING

For the duration of the limited warranty period, all repairs and servicing is to be undertaken exclusively by LOCO Scooters or pre-authorised partners. Any such work undertaken by an unauthorised party will render the limited warranty void. It is the intention of this notice to establish the provisions of this limited warranty in a transparent and accessible manner. LOCO Scooters may, at its discretion, make an exception to the above where reasonable. It will be the sole decision of LOCO Scooters to make such exceptions in this regard.

SERVICE & REPAIR WARRANTY

We endeavour to ensure that all electric scooter repairs undertaken by LOCO Scooters are to an exceptional standard. We use manufacturer original parts where available and in the absence of original manufacturer spare parts we use spurious parts to the same specification as the original.

For the period of 30 days following any repair carried out by LOCO Scooters a full parts and labour warranty applies. That is to say that if a part installed by LOCO Scooters fails within 30 days of its installation, due to an original defect in the part used or its installation, LOCO Scooters will provide a new part and install it at no cost to the customer. For the subsequent period up to 11 months, the warranty applies only to the part. That is to say that if a part installed by LOCO Scooters fails between 31 and 365 days after its installation, due to an original defect in the part used, LOCO Scooters will provide a new part free of charge and the labour cost involved in completing the repair will be borne by the customer.

Exclusions to the service and repairs warranty are the same as those exclusions to the original product warranty which are;

  • Tyres
  • Inner tubes
  • Rubber foot pads
  • Handlebar grips
  • Brake cables
  • Brake pads
  • Brake disc
  • Brake handles
  • Paint
  • Rubber bungs
  • Wheel bearings
  • Missing parts
  • Mudguards
  • Mechanical damage such as snapped or damaged bolts or other parts
  • Any accidental damage or damage caused intentionally / recklessly

Any repairs carried out by LOCO in relation to water damage are done so without any warranty or guarantee, as the full extent of water damage may continue to reveal itself over time, and we can only repair the issue that is in front of us at the time of the repair. It is likely that re-occurring issues will be ongoing in respect of scooters that have been water damaged.

Shipping to the Republic of Ireland

We use DPD & UPS to ship nationwide in Ireland, within the EU and to the UK. For oversized items that cannot be shipped via standard couriers, or that may need to be shipped on pallets, we use third-party hauliers. These items cannot be tracked in the same way as parcels shipped with UPS & DPD, and delivery times may be slightly longer. In the Dublin area, we sometimes use our in-house fulfilment team to make deliveries in person.

For all online orders, delivery in ROI is typically 1-3 business days from purchase, via our shipping partners DPD & UPS. This may change due to stock availability, and if your order requires modification. We do our best to ensure that products with longer delivery timelines specify the shipping date on the product page when they do not align with our general shipping timelines.

If you place your order after 5pm on a weekday, or at any time over the weekend or on an Irish public holiday, it is considered received by us at 10 am on the next business day, and the delivery timeline applies from then. Business days are Monday to Friday, excluding Irish public holidays. For example, if you place your order at 7pm on a Thursday, it is considered received by us at 10am on Friday, and by Monday, it will have been 1 business day since you placed the order.

All DPD branches operate as separate entities, and in some cases, local depots may require you to collect your item from their depot if it is particularly heavy and their driver is unwilling to deliver it.

For delivery-related queries, please contact info@locoscooters.ie, and we will respond as soon as possible.

Shipping to Mainland UK (excluding Northern Ireland)

We ship to England, Scotland and Wales (referred to as Mainland UK) from our Dublin fulfilment centre. Shipping to mainland UK is typically 3-7 business days. We cannot guarantee shipping times to parts of the UK that are remote, or any Islands. This may change due to stock availability, and if your order requires modification. We do our best to ensure that products with longer delivery timelines specify the shipping date on the product page when they do not align with our general shipping timelines.

Delays can occur during the customs process on entry to the UK, which we can't control, and may result in longer-than-expected delivery times.

The pricing noted at checkout includes customs duty, taxes and VAT. You do not have to worry about any further charges after checkout and payment - we will pay all associated customs charges and import VAT.

For shipping to Mainland UK, we need a valid address, postcode, email and phone number to pass on to our shipping partner (DPD or UPS). For oversized items that cannot be shipped via standard couriers, or that may need to be shipped on pallets, we use third-party hauliers. Shipping to Northern Ireland

We ship to Northern Ireland from our Dublin fulfilment centre. For orders with a gross weight under 25kg, shipping to NI typically takes 1-3 business days via DPD. For orders with a gross weight over 25kg (oversize shipments), shipping to NI typically takes 7-10 business days via a pallet shipping network. For oversize shipments, £49 pallet delivery fee will be added at checkout. This may change due to stock availability, and if your order requires modification. We do our best to ensure that products with longer delivery timelines specify the shipping date on the product page when they do not align with our general shipping timelines.

The price shown at checkout is the final price, and no customs duties or VAT apply to orders shipped from Dublin to NI.

Shipping to Mainland Europe (Pan-EU)

We ship to countries across Mainland Europe from our Dublin fulfilment centre. Shipping to Mainland Europe typically takes 7-10 business days, depending on the destination country and local delivery network. This may change due to stock availability, if your order requires modification, or if delivery is being made to a remote location. We do our best to ensure that products with longer delivery timelines specify the shipping date on the product page when they do not align with our general shipping timelines.

Our standard shipping fee for Mainland Europe is €59, however shipping charges may vary for certain destinations, remote regions, islands, or oversized items. The applicable shipping fee will always be displayed at checkout before payment.

If you place your order after 5pm on a weekday, or at any time over the weekend or on an Irish public holiday, it is considered received by us at 10am on the next business day, and the delivery timeline applies from then. Business days are Monday to Friday, excluding Irish public holidays. For example, if you place your order at 7pm on a Thursday, it is considered received by us at 10am on Friday, and by Monday, it will have been 1 business day since you placed the order.

Orders are typically fulfilled from our Dublin warehouse. However, where necessary, we may fulfil certain orders from our European warehouse in Poland to improve stock availability and delivery times.

The price shown at checkout includes all applicable VAT and taxes where required. There will be no additional charges payable to the courier upon delivery unless otherwise stated at checkout.

For shipping to Mainland Europe, we require a valid delivery address, postcode, email address and phone number to pass on to our shipping partner. For oversized items that cannot be shipped via standard couriers, or that require pallet shipment, we use third-party hauliers. These items cannot be tracked in the same way as parcels shipped with DPD or UPS, and delivery times may be slightly longer.

We cannot guarantee shipping times to remote regions, islands or locations that require specialist delivery services. Delays may occasionally occur due to customs inspections, local carrier issues or circumstances outside of our control.

For delivery-related queries, please contact info@locoscooters.ie and we will respond as soon as possible.

Click and Collect

If you prefer to click and collect, then we can facilitate this. Our policy is to request that you present the card used for the purchase when collecting your order to ensure the correct person collects it. This policy is applied in the strictest of terms.

When we suspect that an order may be fraudulent or have any other reason to query the validity of the order or the person placing the order, we reserve the right to withhold the release of the goods until you have satisfied us that the order is genuine. In such circumstances, we will invoke our right to apply our anti-fraud policy.

Packaging

Please be aware that, for all electric scooters and e-bikes shipped, the packaging clearly indicates that they are electric scooters or e-bikes. You may wish to nominate a different address for delivery other than your own if you are ordering an electric scooter as a gift.

Pre-order items, including electric bikes

The above delivery timelines do not apply to electric bikes or any other items purchased as a pre-order. When an item is set to pre-order on our website, the estimated delivery timeline is typically displayed on the product page. Where no estimated delivery time is listed, please contact us to obtain an estimated delivery timeline before making your purchase. Pre-order items are non-cancellable once the order has been placed. The information is clearly presented on our website to inform the customer that the item is out of stock and will be subject to a delivery time different from that set out in this policy or at checkout.

Loco Scooters Limited.

In the EU you have the right to return purchases made online or through other types of distance selling, such as by phone, mail order or from a door-to-door salesperson, within 14 days for a full refund. You can do so for any reason – even if you simply changed your mind. Goods must be returned to the seller in "as new" condition which is explained in greater detail below.

The cooling off period expires 14 days after the day you received your goods. For service contracts, the cooling off period expires 14 days after the day you concluded the contract. If the cooling off period expires on a non-working day, your deadline is extended till the next working day.

After 14 days since you received your order have elapsed, you do not have an entitlement to a refund or exchange. We may, however, consider offering you a store credit, at our discretion.

If you buy goods in our shop in person, you have no EU legal right to return the goods (for exchange or refund) unless the item is faulty. However, we may consider an exchange or credit note on a case by case basis and with a deductible restocking fee.

No refunds or exchanges will be offered on any items bought in a sale or at a discount. This does not affect your statutory rights in any way - you are still entitled to, and will be provided your full warranty and after sales support.

For changes of mind or items returned for a reason other than “faulty”, we refund the value of the product only, and not the amount paid for shipping. We reserve the right to deduct from any refund, the amount of any outlays in relation to shipping or delivery to you, or costs incurred by LOCO in furnishing the item to you.

No refunds or exchanges will be allowed for any electronic spare parts such as controllers, displays, screens, printed circuit boards or LCDs under any circumstances.

The 14 day cooling off period does not apply to orders placed from outside the EU. Regardless of the reason for the return, we reserve the right to deduct from the amount of any non-EU returns, any outlays or expenses incurred by LOCO in furnishing the item to you. This will include any shipping costs as well as any customs or duties paid by LOCO. You will be responsible for the payment of any customs and duties chargeable on the return of the item.

How To Cancel A Purchase

You must inform us that you want to cancel your purchase / return the goods in “as new” condition, at which point we will provide you with our returns form and upon completion of this form you may return the goods to us. LOCO Scooters defines “as new” as unused, boxed in original packaging and including any accessories in their original packaging and condition which must be resalable as new. We may refuse to accept a return or deduct from the refund any reasonable amount in the event that goods returned are not “as new”. The cost of returning the goods is borne by the customer and return arrangements must be made by the customer.

You must send the goods back within 14 days of informing us of your intention to return the goods.

We will inform you of any applicable charges before you return the goods to us, as is our obligation.

Getting A Refund

We will provide you with a refund within 14 days of receiving your cancellation request. However, we may delay refunding you if we haven’t received the goods or evidence that you’ve returned them.

We will refund you to the card you used to make the purchase, or in cash if you paid cash. If you paid with One4all or other voucher, we can only refund the One4all card or voucher, so please retain the One4all card or voucher.

Refunds for purchases made via Humm by Flexifi will be processed within 14 days from the date of approval. Please note that refunds to Humm Flexifi may take up to 14 days to process once initiated. All refund requests are subject to approval and must comply with our standard terms and conditions.

Deposits & Pre-orders

Deposits taken to secure items with a payment instalment plan are non-refundable. Such deposits are a commitment by both parties (the customer and the seller) to complete the transaction at the agreed priced. No subsequent price increases will be passed on to the customer by the seller in the event of a price increase, and similarly no price decreases will be passed on to the customer by the seller. Pre-ordered items are non-cancelable as orders are placed with suppliers at the time of receiving your order and as such cannot be cancelled. This relates also to electric bikes which are pre-ordered through us. Once we place the order with our suppliers, we cannot cancel the order.

Fiido M1 Pro, the folding fat tyre electric bike

The M1 Pro gives you a proper fat tyre electric bike that still folds away when you get home. Potholes, gravel tracks, the beach or a wet commute, it takes them in its stride on 20 x 4.0in tyres, an 80mm fork and a rear shock, with a 556.8Wh removable battery you can charge indoors.

Ride it at our Blanchardstown, Portobello or Cork store to see how the fold feels, and our own technicians look after it afterwards. Planning to carry a lot? The bigger Titan is built for loads.
