Shipping to the Republic of Ireland
We use DPD & UPS to ship nationwide in Ireland, within the EU and to the UK. For oversized items that cannot be shipped via standard couriers, or that may need to be shipped on pallets, we use third-party hauliers. These items cannot be tracked in the same way as parcels shipped with UPS & DPD, and delivery times may be slightly longer. In the Dublin area, we sometimes use our in-house fulfilment team to make deliveries in person.
For all online orders, delivery in ROI is typically 1-3 business days from purchase, via our shipping partners DPD & UPS. This may change due to stock availability, and if your order requires modification. We do our best to ensure that products with longer delivery timelines specify the shipping date on the product page when they do not align with our general shipping timelines.
If you place your order after 5pm on a weekday, or at any time over the weekend or on an Irish public holiday, it is considered received by us at 10 am on the next business day, and the delivery timeline applies from then. Business days are Monday to Friday, excluding Irish public holidays. For example, if you place your order at 7pm on a Thursday, it is considered received by us at 10am on Friday, and by Monday, it will have been 1 business day since you placed the order.
All DPD branches operate as separate entities, and in some cases, local depots may require you to collect your item from their depot if it is particularly heavy and their driver is unwilling to deliver it.

Shipping to Mainland UK (excluding Northern Ireland)
We ship to England, Scotland and Wales (referred to as Mainland UK) from our Dublin fulfilment centre. Shipping to mainland UK is typically 3-7 business days. We cannot guarantee shipping times to parts of the UK that are remote, or any Islands. This may change due to stock availability, and if your order requires modification. We do our best to ensure that products with longer delivery timelines specify the shipping date on the product page when they do not align with our general shipping timelines.

We ship to Northern Ireland from our Dublin fulfilment centre. For orders with a gross weight under 25kg, shipping to NI typically takes 1-3 business days via DPD. For orders with a gross weight over 25kg (oversize shipments), shipping to NI typically takes 7-10 business days via a pallet shipping network. For oversize shipments, £49 pallet delivery fee will be added at checkout. This may change due to stock availability, and if your order requires modification. We ship to countries across Mainland Europe from our Dublin fulfilment centre. Shipping to Mainland Europe typically takes 7-10 business days, depending on the destination country and local delivery network. This may change due to stock availability, if your order requires modification, or if delivery is being made to a remote location. We do our best to ensure that products with longer delivery timelines specify the shipping date on the product page when they do not align with our general shipping timelines.
Our standard shipping fee for Mainland Europe is €59, however shipping charges may vary for certain destinations, remote regions, islands, or oversized items. The applicable shipping fee will always be displayed at checkout before payment.

Orders are typically fulfilled from our Dublin warehouse. However, where necessary, we may fulfil certain orders from our European warehouse in Poland to improve stock availability and delivery times.
The price shown at checkout includes all applicable VAT and taxes where required. There will be no additional charges payable to the courier upon delivery unless otherwise stated at checkout.

We cannot guarantee shipping times to remote regions, islands or locations that require specialist delivery services. Delays may occasionally occur due to customs inspections, local carrier issues or circumstances outside of our control.

Click and Collect
If you prefer to click and collect, then we can facilitate this. Our policy is to request that you present the card used for the purchase when collecting your order to ensure the correct person collects it. This policy is applied in the strictest of terms.
When we suspect that an order may be fraudulent or have any other reason to query the validity of the order or the person placing the order, we reserve the right to withhold the release of the goods until you have satisfied us that the order is genuine. In such circumstances, we will invoke our right to apply our anti-fraud policy.
Packaging
Please be aware that, for all electric scooters and e-bikes shipped, the packaging clearly indicates that they are electric scooters or e-bikes. You may wish to nominate a different address for delivery other than your own if you are ordering an electric scooter as a gift.
Pre-order items, including electric bikes
The above delivery timelines do not apply to electric bikes or any other items purchased as a pre-order. When an item is set to pre-order on our website, the estimated delivery timeline is typically displayed on the product page. Where no estimated delivery time is listed, please contact us to obtain an estimated delivery timeline before making your purchase. Pre-order items are non-cancellable once the order has been placed. The information is clearly presented on our website to inform the customer that the item is out of stock and will be subject to a delivery time different from that set out in this policy or at checkout.
In the EU you have the right to return purchases made online or through other types of distance selling, such as by phone, mail order or from a door-to-door salesperson, within 14 days for a full refund. You can do so for any reason – even if you simply changed your mind. Goods must be returned to the seller in "as new" condition which is explained in greater detail below.
The cooling off period expires 14 days after the day you received your goods. For service contracts, the cooling off period expires 14 days after the day you concluded the contract. If the cooling off period expires on a non-working day, your deadline is extended till the next working day.
After 14 days since you received your order have elapsed, you do not have an entitlement to a refund or exchange. We may, however, consider offering you a store credit, at our discretion.
If you buy goods in our shop in person, you have no EU legal right to return the goods (for exchange or refund) unless the item is faulty. However, we may consider an exchange or credit note on a case by case basis and with a deductible restocking fee.
No refunds or exchanges will be offered on any items bought in a sale or at a discount. This does not affect your statutory rights in any way - you are still entitled to, and will be provided your full warranty and after sales support.
For changes of mind or items returned for a reason other than “faulty”, we refund the value of the product only, and not the amount paid for shipping. We reserve the right to deduct from any refund, the amount of any outlays in relation to shipping or delivery to you, or costs incurred by LOCO in furnishing the item to you.
No refunds or exchanges will be allowed for any electronic spare parts such as controllers, displays, screens, printed circuit boards or LCDs under any circumstances.
The 14 day cooling off period does not apply to orders placed from outside the EU. Regardless of the reason for the return, we reserve the right to deduct from the amount of any non-EU returns, any outlays or expenses incurred by LOCO in furnishing the item to you. This will include any shipping costs as well as any customs or duties paid by LOCO. You will be responsible for the payment of any customs and duties chargeable on the return of the item.
How To Cancel A Purchase
You must inform us that you want to cancel your purchase / return the goods in “as new” condition, at which point we will provide you with our returns form and upon completion of this form you may return the goods to us. LOCO Scooters defines “as new” as unused, boxed in original packaging and including any accessories in their original packaging and condition which must be resalable as new. We may refuse to accept a return or deduct from the refund any reasonable amount in the event that goods returned are not “as new”. The cost of returning the goods is borne by the customer and return arrangements must be made by the customer.
You must send the goods back within 14 days of informing us of your intention to return the goods.
We will inform you of any applicable charges before you return the goods to us, as is our obligation.
Getting A Refund
We will provide you with a refund within 14 days of receiving your cancellation request. However, we may delay refunding you if we haven’t received the goods or evidence that you’ve returned them.
We will refund you to the card you used to make the purchase, or in cash if you paid cash. If you paid with One4all or other voucher, we can only refund the One4all card or voucher, so please retain the One4all card or voucher.
Refunds for purchases made via Humm by Flexifi will be processed within 14 days from the date of approval. Please note that refunds to Humm Flexifi may take up to 14 days to process once initiated. All refund requests are subject to approval and must comply with our standard terms and conditions.
Deposits & Pre-orders
Deposits taken to secure items with a payment instalment plan are non-refundable. Such deposits are a commitment by both parties (the customer and the seller) to complete the transaction at the agreed priced. No subsequent price increases will be passed on to the customer by the seller in the event of a price increase, and similarly no price decreases will be passed on to the customer by the seller. Pre-ordered items are non-cancelable as orders are placed with suppliers at the time of receiving your order and as such cannot be cancelled. This relates also to electric bikes which are pre-ordered through us. Once we place the order with our suppliers, we cannot cancel the order.
