LOCO services and repairs electric bikes at our workshop in Damastown, Dublin 15. Choose an Essential Service (€80), Full Service (€120) or Cargo Service (€150). Prices cover labour and include VAT, and any parts are quoted and approved by you before we fit them.

Every service ends with a written condition report recording tyre and pad wear (%), chain wear (%) and bolt torque (Nm). Any parts needed beyond the service are quoted and approved by you before fitting.
Service your e-bike every 12 months or around 3,000 km, whichever comes first. If you commute daily, ride in the rain or carry heavy loads, book in every six months. E-bikes are heavier and faster than standard bikes, so brakes, chains and spokes wear more quickly, and Irish weather is hard on electrical connectors.

At LOCO, an Essential Service is €80, a Full Service is €120 and a Cargo Service is €150. Prices cover labour and include VAT. Any parts needed, such as brake pads or a chain, are quoted and approved by you before fitting.
Every service includes a safety check of the battery, charge port, frame, fork, wheels and brakes, brake and gear adjustment, a chain clean and lube, tyre, pad and chain wear measurements, and a test ride in all riding modes. The Full Service adds connector cleaning, sensor and brake cut-off tests, headset and suspension servicing, rotor cleaning, wheel bearing checks, a freewheel clean and a full bike clean. Every 12 months or around 3,000 km, whichever comes first. Daily commuters and riders in wet weather should book in every six months, because e-bike brakes, chains and spokes wear faster than on a standard bike.
Parts are charged, but the fitting labour for brake pads, brake fluid and rotors is included in your service, and tyre fitting is included with the Full and Cargo Service. Wheel truing is €40 per wheel. Anything needed beyond the service is quoted and approved by you before we start.

Yes. We run full electrical diagnostics on batteries, controllers, displays and motors. Some batteries are beyond safe repair and need replacing, and we'll always explain the options before any work is done.

Bring your e-bike with its battery and battery key so we can test the electrics. You only need to bring the charger if you think there's a charging fault.
