A lightweight 250w brushless geared motor allows for greater torque, delivering a top speed of 25km/h. Stronger starting torque provides enough power to ensure that the Fiido D11 has no difficulty with hills or cycling upwind.
The 52T crankset and 7-speed Shimano variable gear system allows the rider to switch to higher gears for high-speed riding while the lower gears are suitable climbing uphills in manual mode.
Large 20 inch non-slip, wear-resistant pneumatic tyres are highly suitable for use on uneven surfaces. 1.75 inch wide tyres ensure maximum grip, especially in wet conditions.
The Fiido D11 electric bike comes equipped with a cadence sensor, which activates the motor as soon as it senses motion in pedals. Simply put, this electric bike activates the motor as soon as you start pedalling. The output of the motor is determined by which assist mode you are riding in - 1, 2 or 3 (less, more, most). If you would prefer an e-bike with a more accurate torque sensor (a sensor that calculates the actual speed of pedalling and corrects the motor output to ensure a smoother and more accurate motor output), the check out the upgrade to the Fiido D21 electric bike.
Do you want more responsive braking? Now might be the time to consider upgrading from standard brakes to semi-hydraulic X-TECH brakes. Their hydraulic calliper allows X-TECH brakes to grip the brake disc more effectively, reducing braking distances and increasing braking reactiveness - they significantly improve the braking quality on more powerful electric bikes.
