These terms and conditions (the "Terms") apply to all competitions and giveaways run by LOCO Scooters ("LOCO", "we", "us") on our website, email or social media channels, including Instagram, TikTok and Facebook (each a "Competition"). By entering a Competition, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Any details specific to a Competition, such as the prize, how to enter and the closing date, will be set out in the Competition post or announcement and form part of these Terms.
1. Promoter
The promoter of each Competition is LOCO Scooters, Unit 1 Damastown Way, Damastown Industrial Estate, Blanchardstown, Dublin 15, D15 XW7K, Ireland.
2. Eligibility
- Entrants must be 18 years of age or older at the time of entry.
- Unless otherwise stated in the Competition post, Competitions are open to residents of the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland.
- Employees of LOCO Scooters, their immediate families, and anyone otherwise connected with the organisation of the Competition are not eligible to enter.
- We may ask the winner for proof of age and eligibility before awarding a prize.
3. How to Enter
- Entry instructions will be set out in the Competition post.
- Entries must be received before the closing date stated in the Competition post, by at 11.59pm (Irish time). Late entries will not be accepted.
- Only one entry per person is permitted unless the Competition post states otherwise.
- Entries made using fake, duplicate or automated accounts, or by any other method that does not follow the entry instructions, will be disqualified.
- We are not responsible for entries that are lost, delayed or not received for any reason, including technical issues with any social media platform.
4. Winner Selection
- The winner will be selected at random from all valid entries.
- The selection is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
5. Winner Announcement and Notification
- The winner will be announced within 10 days of the closing date, on the channel where the Competition was run.
- The winner will be contacted by direct message on the relevant social media platform or by email.
- LOCO Scooters will never ask a winner for payment, bank details or passwords to claim a prize. Please be cautious of fake accounts pretending to be us.
- If the winner does not respond within 7 days of being contacted, or cannot be verified as eligible, we reserve the right to select an alternative winner.
6. Prize
- The prize will be as described in the Competition post.
- The prize is non-transferable and no cash alternative will be offered.
- We reserve the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if the advertised prize becomes unavailable for reasons outside our control.
- Prizes will be made available for collection from one of our stores, as agreed with the winner. The winner must collect it on a weekday between 10am-4pm.
- Where a prize includes an electric scooter or e-bike, the winner is responsible for using it safely and in line with all applicable laws and regulations, including any age, equipment and road-use rules.
7. Publicity and Personal Data
- By entering, you agree that if you win, we may publish your name or social media handle and, where agreed, use photos or content of you with your prize for promotional purposes.
- Personal information collected in connection with a Competition will be used only to run the Competition and deliver the prize, unless you have separately opted in to receive marketing from us. All data will be handled in line with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection law.
8. Social Media Platforms
Competitions run on social media are in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Meta or any other platform. You release each platform from any responsibility in connection with the Competition.
9. Our Rights
- We reserve the right to disqualify any entrant who breaches these Terms or acts in a fraudulent or abusive manner.
- We reserve the right to amend, suspend or cancel any Competition at any time if circumstances outside our reasonable control require it.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, LOCO Scooters is not liable for any loss, damage or injury arising from entering a Competition or from accepting or using a prize, except where caused by our negligence.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Ireland.
