Every single Care tier includes our comprehensive Annual Service (worth €80). Your disc brakes wear down. Your folding mechanisms get loose. We check, tighten, and tune everything. Check-in for your service in months 7-12 of your plan!

A single walk-in customer pays €136.50 on average for just one repair, and misses out on the €80 Annual Service. Care members lock in their coverage upfront, get priority service, and get a full tune-up to prevent future breakdowns.
Natural capacity loss over time (battery degradation) is not covered. However, sudden battery failure (like complete inoperability or sudden voltage drops) may be covered under the All-In tier. This is valid for the first 10,000 km, provided the Subscription is maintained continuously.
Rentals are not included in any LOCO Care tier. However, as a Care member, you get access to an optional rental scooter for a €15 fixed fee per repair. This covers the full rental period until your scooter is ready for collection, which is a 50% discount from our standard rate.
No, LOCO Care is for consumer use only. Commercial use is not eligible. We define "Regular Use" as non-commercial use within 10,000 kilometres per Plan Year.
Yes! Brake servicing and wearing brake components (like pads, discs, and cables) are included in the Essential, Peace-of-Mind, and All-In tiers when required for safe operation. To keep the service sustainable, our Fair Usage Policy limits this to a maximum of 4 brake pad/disc replacements per Plan Year.
The subscription is tied to the specific serial number of your scooter. However, under our Goodwill Policy, if your subscribed scooter is stolen, written off, or you buy a new scooter from LOCO, you can transfer the remaining time balance to the new scooter. We calculate the unused months on a pro-rata basis and deduct that value from the cost of a new 12-month LOCO Care plan for your replacement scooter.
Your manufacturer warranty covers manufacturing defects. It does not cover wear-and-tear like punctures, worn brake pads, or water damage. Care covers the reality of the road.
KuKirin scooters are fantastic, but they are heavier and built differently, meaning parts and labour take slightly longer and cost a bit more. We split the pricing to ensure you only pay for the coverage your specific brand requires.
Not at all. This plan is in addition to your consumer rights and nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights under Irish and EU consumer law. Any issue with your LOCO Care subscription does not affect your statutory warranty rights or your entitlement to return the Scooter. Your standard warranty covers manufacturing defects, while Care covers the daily reality of the road.
